Swiss voters go to the polls on Sunday to decide whether to tighten up their gun laws to conform with European Union regulations.

But the proposals have raised hackles in Switzerland, which has a long, and for many Swiss, proud tradition of gun ownership. After Swiss men complete their obligatory military service, they are permitted to keep their assault rifles.
There are gun clubs in every town and village, and target-shooting is a hugely popular sport.

Hang tight, my Swiss friends. Tell those fuckers to pound sand!

"Mr Bösiger has a point. Despite the millions of weapons in homes across Switzerland, the overall crime rate is low.
Gun crime is higher in Switzerland's neighbours."

"It's about bringing Switzerland to a safer place, where there is not as much gun violence as there is now. There are a lot of guns in Switzerland in private homes, and that is a real problem."

Wankers.
Completely blind to every fact that differs from the Controlist future that they dream about.

How can I help you, and/or make you smile, today?

The problem with being on social media, is that you know too many people that you don't know.

Joy is not a feeling. It is a strength. Some people are stupid, that's all there is to it. (And sometimes that stupid person is me/you.) Sometimes you just have to let stupid people be stupid. Don't let stupid steal your joy.

Holding onto unforgiveness and resentment is like drinking poison and expecting that other person to die. Anger will eat you up.

If the Swiss remember their history, the vote will be a landslide telling the EU to go fuck themselves.

Isn’t suppressor ownership/usage mandatory in Switzerland?

No, but a citizen may apply for one. The laws are pretty draconian, I wouldn’t look to Switzerland as a beacon of moral gun laws.

Yeah, it appears so.

The projections indicate that 67% of voters in Sunday's referendum supported tougher restrictions on semi-automatic and automatic weapons.
