Metro Exodus is the one for me. Far Cry has gotten pretty stale for me lately.

Roses are red,

And violets are blue,

Your mom's feet stink,

And the dog does too.

Trailer park valentine.

Valentines day.

A completely manufactured, commercial holiday.

To GUILT men into buying stuff for women.

Nah. Some of you know that I work as a florist, three or four weekend days a month, because I've been an itinerant florist since forever. Every Valentine's Day, I take vacation from my real job (at UWMC) and work the entire five days up to and including Valentine's Day. Yes, the majority of last-minute orders and buyers are men, but probably a solid 30% of pre-orders and pre-purchases are women--women buying for men, mostly.

I did a spectacular $400 arrangement yesterday for a woman to give to her husband, to celebrate their recent return from Ecuador. I don't know how many dozens of bouquets and arrangements I did today, but a lot--plus balloons, chocolates, and cards--were sold to women, giving them to their significant others or their mothers, or taking them to graves. So calling it a false holiday designed to "guilt" men into buying things for women--if you have to be "guilted" into buying anything for the person you supposedly love, maybe you should reconsider your relationship.

Anybody who needs a good florist, hey, I'm here. PM me. I'm not going to post where I work here, but I'll give it to you in a PM.

I was poking fun more than anything.

But I'll address this.

If you have to buy something for someone, to prove that you love them, then you should indeed reconsider your relationship.

Exactly. Now $400 worth of ammo... That's a gift I'll take any day of the year.
