Yep.
The only advantage of wheel guns over semi-autos is they don't leave a brass on the ground. :wink05:

Thats a big stretch in concerns written by a semi loving author.

At least amongst his list a extremely rare risks he still added a slice of truth to the article.

"It is true that revolvers are less prone to malfunctions than semi-auto pistols."

Well...that and very few autos in .357 mag....41 mag....44 mag...454 Casull....450 or 500 SW.

Big loads for big bears. That's our theory here.

With extractor issues you at least don't have to care about them for 5-6 shots.

My biggest issue with semi's is the lack of sa/da for a carry piece, i know they are out there, but they are uncommon.

Part of the reason i carry a p64 (mak clone)

I've purchased revolvers that were definitely tucked away in drawers or safes for several decades and they fired just fine.

You drag yours through the mud and/or shoot it until it's caked with carbon, yeah it'll probably fail.

The mechanical failures in the article are exceedingly rare and just don't happen with a well-maintained and fired (tested) gun.

Nearly all non-ammo related failures I've ever had with a semi are due to the magazine and feeding from it. Revolvers do neither.

I agree, although 10mm is a pretty worthy semi caliber!

Gender profiling on my part here, but, the author’s name is Heidi.....
