^ Wow . . . between the red dot, the low recoil of the 5.7 to start with, and that light hanging off the end . . . I'm guessing that you can't miss with that pistol?

I'll find out tomorrow. I have the iron sites zero'd in, now I need to zero the red dot. (No co-witness unfortunately) The light comes off at the range. Light hangs on it in my drawer beside the bed when things go bump in the night. (Typical critter bumps....bad guys in MT know its suicide to try a break in on a home here....67% of home owners are armed)

If the lights stays on it for self-defense, why not leave the light on while you're at the range? It's considered deer shining in MT. Seriously though....I'll have it sand bagged to site it in at 25 yards. Might leave it on...depends on steady I can keep it.

Other than the whimsical long trigger pull which I knew about before purchasing, that R57 is FUN FUN FUN! Zero'd the Viper red dot in at 25 yards in about 5 shots, sandbagged.
Wife really enjoyed it too.
Next time out I'll remember to take a pic of the target. Pretty much 2" MOA groups. I find that fascinating considering its a mini 223 rifle cartridge in a big frame semi auto.

Scored another unfired specimen from the local auction. Under $400. Browning Challenger II with 3 mags. No box. Filtered light close up

Thoughts on it? Got the proceed and picked it up yesterday. Received a in-stock alert from Riflegear.com two weeks ago and jumped on it quick because they only had 4. Will shoot it this weekend and report back. Initial complaints are no configurable backstrap so the grip is a bit small for me compared to the 509 and the rear sight is not adjustable.
