Hmm, I think someone might be posting some "Slightly damaged guns for sale - CHEAP" ads soon! MadPick wrote: I took the final step to becoming a full-fledged YouTube-certified gunsmith.

Rix86, how's the progress going on the P80s you've been doing?
Subject is of great interest, I'm planning on doing more at some point.
Me, I cleaned my P80 (PF9C) and my G17. Woo hooà

Me, I cleaned my P80 (PF9C) and my G17. Woo hooà I've got the three pistols together and I don't know how many 80% ARs milled and together and a few more milled. I think it's 3 now but I'd have to look The other 2 pistols will probably have to wait a while. I'm going to finish the a2 type build for the wife and then that's probably going to be the last gun I build for a while.

Few days ago took the wife out to go shoot her newly built M16A2 clone. Wasn't sure she was going to like it but she effing loves it and despite her being unsure at first if she would be able to hit the steel at 300 yds (I had no doubt, she has a great marksmanship coach!) she was on target 2nd round in and slaughtered it for about 3 mags. She had a blast going between the 100 yd steel and 300 yd steel.

Personal weapons are what raised mankind out of the mud, and the rifle is the queen of personal weapons. The possession of a good rifle, as well as the skill to use it well, truly makes a man the monarch of all he surveys. It realizes the ancient dream of the Jovian thunderbolt, and as such it is the embodiment of personal power. For this reason it exercises a curious influence over the minds of most men, and in its best examples it constitutes an object of affection unmatched by any other inanimate object.

Thumbs up for the Vortex VIP Warranty Service. I have a Vortex Venom that was not properly adjusting for elevation. - Mailed to Vortex this Tuesday via USPS Priority Mail. - Last night I received an email from Vortex indicating receipt. - This morning received a phone call that my red dot had already been evaluated and repaired along with a description of what was wrong - Vortex getting the item into return mail today I'm amazed at the speed and efficiency of this particular warranty return. Was expecting turnaround to require several weeks. So to say I'm a happy camper is an understatement
