Yep, I started one that has 8 pages of current information, thanks to all who participated and guided me to my choice of carriers and armor.

Hesco L210s
$330 shipped no tax collected at time of sale for L210s. Ceramics that "capture" the bullet and avoid the spalling issue where you bleed the fuck to death from the shrapnel.

My wallet hates you.

"Law Enforcement Equipment Supply", L.E.E.D.s, long out of business though 4+ years now. Got bought out by another LE supply company and the owners retired IIRC. Used to be on 6th Ave in Tacoma near the Narrows, old bank building with an awesome walk-in vault.

Just ordered a set of the Hesco L210's mentioned Saturday, along with a Shellback tactical carrier.
I had a Spartan LW Sentry plate carrier deliver Saturday too, I put my LW Paraclete Ceramic plates in that one for the Wife. :thumbsup2:

Think of ole caveman doing the skit like Steve Martin did in the Jerk “the new phone books are here” but me with my new Hesco plates!!!!! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

These plates are probably a pound difference (heavier) than my Battle steel lvl III-+SRT plates (which are multi curved). These plates are thinner (.6” versus .95”+) and fit so much better especially where my rifle stock fits my in shoulder. The rifle stock is no longer hitting the plate with this type of shooters cut.

Good to hear Norman89, you will not regret it for the “buy once cry once” deal. At one time I went the cheap route with PC’s but saw a lot of things I didn’t like with the cheap stuff side by side.
I am thankful for this community for steering me in the right direction so that I may help others. :wagwoot:

I'd say a large SAPI cut plate. I'm rocking these guys right now and am quite happy with them. Plus they made and sold locally.
