I want to make an organizer for all my shell holders while I’m at work. Could somebody take some measurements on a shell holder for me so I don’t have to wait until tomorrow to start? Overall height, height of the small diameter, width of the groove, height of the large diameter. Size of the hole down the center. I think I’m going to drill and ream some holes and press some pins in them for each of the shell holders to fit on. Thanks

Why not just keep them with your die sets?

Small diameter is .560, large is.808. That’s on a Hornady shell holder. Thickness is .507.

I used to do this however many different calibers use the same shellholder.
By keeping one with every die set, you could be, like in my case, be buying a lot of shell holders.

I ended up putting a shell holder with each die set. Since I have more than one press and lots of dies the holder was always in the wrong place.

Small price in the overall scheme.
