I just started reloading and I have a bunch of 9mm and 308 test rounds I want to shoot through my chrono. Because DNR land is closed to recreational shooting for fire and it’s supposed to be pouring down rain this weekend I’m wondering if anyone knows of a range where I’m going to have the best chance of them letting me use my chronograph. I figure it’s up to the rso on staff at the time usually but I’m wondering if you guys have any ideas. What have your experiences been setting up a chrono at a range? I just want to test these rounds so I can start producing some rounds. I know the range isn’t ideal for chrono I’d much rather go out into the woods but that isn’t really an option right now.

Thanks

EDIT: oh, and I’m in Kent. I’d drive an hour or an hour and a half to somewhere I had a good chance at.

I believe DNR land just opened, but otherwise RFGC allows them.

Most of us know the famous Steve shot. Lol

What kind of chrony are you running? Newer ones like the orange labRadars dont even have leave. I can't think of a reason to ban those.

I use mine at the TRPC almost exclusively. IT is right behind Charles Wright academy.
