I was just gifted an RL450 is it worth the money to upgrade and make progressive via the 550 upgrade program. I am not sure what is needed to make this work ( total newb to reloading) It did come with a powder dispenser.

The answer to your question lies in "How much do you plan to load?"
If you are going to turn out larger quantities, then it may be worth the investment.
With that said, I am not up on what Dillion charges for the upgrade.

the frame upgrade is $153 the progressive parts take it a full progressive 550c $330 ish the rl 550 is $525 I think I am gonna run it as is
