"Free Fishing Weekend" is June 8-9, 2019, when fishing licenses are not required of anyone to fish in Washington. Free Fishing Weekend in Washington is always the first weekend after the first Monday in June. Also NOT required on Free Fishing Weekend: Vehicle Access Pass (which comes with a fishing license) https://wdfw.wa.gov/fishing/free |

Cool but please read the fine print. It may be free but it comes with some rules. Quote: Remember - all other rules still apply. While no licenses are required on Free Fishing Weekend, it's still important to check the regulations for other rules such as size limits, bag limits, catch record card requirements and area closures that will still be in effect. Catch record cards, required for some species, are available free at hundreds of sporting goods stores and other license dealers throughout the state. went shad fishing this past Saturday at Bonneville dam got 48 fish between buddy and I. processed them all, going to smoke most, brine some of it. shad is runny really strong still, we were about 1/3 of a mile down from the dam, got in at 5AM left at 1PM

Nice. I was down there on the first too. I was a bit further down river 7a - 3pm got 115. Thinking about going down again on the 8th. |

Mehh its fucking bullshit,,, gotta be off the water by 2pm blow me............. one reason im not fishing a species this yr. and waiting well shit it june now with reduce fees on fishing tags............. come aug i'll be slaying em. |
