So I bought a inexpensive llama 1911 45 and I am a firm believer that you can make any 1911 a great 1911 with the right work done. I am thinking about having a trigger job done and getting a heavy barrel and some other things done to this and don't know a 1911 gunsmith. If anyone knows one please info would be appreciated. Thanks Jason

Myself or Tommyboy could do the work. Llama's aren't technically 1911's though. I mean they are and they aren't. The frames have some slight differences and shit like that. Most of the 1911 parts will fit with the exception of the grips, ejector and main spring housing I believe.

The following pics are of a government size Llama 1911 I did a bunch of shit to.

You can't really see the differences but trust me, they are there. 8-)

One of the best 1911 pistol smiths in the country is Richard Neimer. He use to work for Detonic but is now working for Olympic arms.
