Interstingly enough, I had a nearly identical situation. On my gun, it was a Remington 700 based rifle in 308 with a Surefire brake that was put on with Rocksett.
I tried all the tricks. Heat, cold, boiling water, penetrating oil, shock, everything. My rifle was assembled by GA Precision, so I called George up and asked him what to do.
He told me I was fucked. If it's been on for more than a few hundred rounds of suppressed fire, it's stuck for good. He literally cuts them off, then recuts threads and a crown.
I didn't like that answer, so I used my Brownells Barrel Vise, and then rounded off the flats from wrenching so hard. After that, I used a pipe wrench and cheater bar. It came off, but stripped all the threads on both the barrel and brake, but now it's off... and now I gotta recut threads and crown.

Soak it in cold water for several hours. Rocksett gets stronger when heated at all. I believe the manufacturer of Rocksett recommends soaking in water to release.

From Flexbar.com the makers of Rocksett: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0061/ ... c.pdf?2026"The only way to break a proper Rocksett bond is to soak the part in hot water for 20 minutes or more and then forcibly remove the components."

For some reason my searches for "brake" and "rocksett" failed, but I finally found this. viewtopic.php?f=40&t=43862&p=1305898#p1305898
