Is there an AK smith in the area? I know there was one guy in Renton who specialized in it but don't remember his name so I doubt he's still plugging away at that work.

Just buy a Lynx. I love mine. PSA is also soon to make a AK 74 version and as soon as Robski can vet one I'm all in

Sorry, I might not have been clear. I am looking to have a second SBRd AK. I love my M92, but its had a lot of abuse. Needs to be rebuilt. So I was looking at how to do it without having to buy a whole new one under the new 1639 oppression. Just kicking around ideas.

Buy a Lynx or 92 pistol (they are pistols) and SBR it... just like buying a handgun, and cheaper while knowing it hasn't been bubbed up

I prefer the hard Blade brace with a folder

pardon me, but isn't illegal to cut a rifle down into a pistol? Or maybe I missing something here...I thought once it is built as a rifle it must stay a rifle

$200 Tax stamp defeats that.

Yup. Just to spell it out . . . in this case, he'd be modifying a rifle and turning it into a short-barreled rifle with a tax stamp. At no point would it become a pistol.

No, I talked to him about 2years ago, and he said he had to stop doing work due to health reasons.
