I recently purchased two brushed steel IMI Jericho 941F's.
I want to keep the nicer of the two as-is but I'd like to try mirror polishing the other one.
I've polished quite a few things before with decent success but I'm curious if anyone may have some tips or suggestions on process and potential products to use.

Thank you in advance.

I like using “Flitz” polish on my SS stuff.

It works really well without any power tools.

Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish is also an option.

start with sand paper and a block, then move to high grit (2000 grit or higher) wet sand paper and wet sand

When going to the buffer, take your time and don't use too much pressure or too aggressive of grit, stay away from roll marks until the final polish

the final polish should be done with a loose cotton buff

as for products, Caswell has just about everything you need
