I didn’t see this posted in searching. Was wondering what thoughts people had on the ruling and full auto rifles/handguns possession as they pertain to Constitutionality under the 2A. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dAY3jAmgG ... e=youtu.be

Like a lot of things, it looks good on paper. But even if this goes nationwide full autos will still be outrageous. Full auto is fun but not practical most of the time. I've shot a full auto, Tommy, which is on my wish list. I have a semi-auto version that I love.

Even if Fed NFA goes down I expect the states to say "suck a dick we'll do as we please" just as they have to Heller, Heller II and Bruen.

Not that I would buy one, I have enough semi-autos and don't need full but I was wondering if this decision ever holds up how that might affect the consitutionality of the bans here in WA. Either way, it would be a slow process to get this state to follow the Constitution (if it even happens). As Diamondback said, Marxist (or Maoist) states like ours will break the law even if they are told they cannot until something happens to the traitorous politicians.

WA separately bans machineguns, and I fully expect that our current government would take the position that the federal court case doesn't overturn the state ban for as long as possible.

And this is why I'm half tempted to write in "John Wick" for governor. How many of us here seriously expect to see RINO Extraordinaire Reichert exceed the Margin of Cheat between fabricated ballots an newly imported illegals who No Hablo Ingles but by god they understand "vote blue no matter who"?

While f/a is not terribly practical on infantry rifles, squad automatic weapons and submachine guns would be somewhat useless without their f/a function. Also if f/a went back on the menu for new production and retrofit the market would be flooded and the ridiculous value of current “transferables” would probably tank. Either way I’d love to see it happen just to see a long stolen right restored to American gun owners.

Shooting a Thompson on "Twenties Roar" is simply a Must Have life experience, and the old firebreathers are quick to learn and surprisingly controllable once you do. :) ----EDIT FOR ADDED BONUS CONTENT---- As I see it, the BEST deal we get out of Piss-Stain Roberts is: *NFA registry and taxation upheld as Constitutional *Registry closure and Federal prohibition struck down *No ruling on state-level bans Next dominoes to fall: *ATF adopts a “deny on slightest pretext” policy - for example “Rejected for I’s not dotted” on mine because my handwriting uses smallcaps instead of lowercase *More of the Blue Hells enact state-level bans *Registered owners start getting annual ATF colonoscopies looking for pretexts to jam up

Very useful for some situations and I would be happy to have the option to easily purchase for the reason you stated. Any right that is restored is a win.
