She picked out the upper at the gun show last month, and I had a friend customize everything else. He did a great job! She wanted "Husky Purple" for her UW Alumni association. :) All photos here--> https://sportsdad60.smugmug.com/Custom/n-B9CJGM/

Very cool, I like it! Has she shot it yet? Does she like it?

Just got it back today. We shoot tomorrow. I ran about 20 through it on the range to make sure it went boom while she was shopping.

Nice, this is the key to normalizing guns in society. It's too hard to demonize someone with a COD rifle in the streets.

Thanks guys. She graduated with a masters from UW a couple years ago. Proof that not everyone is a screaming liberal from the UW. She's had it up to "here" with liberals telling what she can and SHOULDN'T have. Thus the decision to buy an AR. Of course there is the fact that she loses me 3 hrs a week-end to the gun club. {Ang3l halo here} She wants to do more than just pistol shootin'.
The bad side of her getting into punching holes thru rifle targets with me is....it crowds my "gun money" because now it's Times 2! :) I'm good with dat.

Well, she shot the sh*t out of it yesterday. :D
We discovered that my reloads (62 gr- LC brass) that I load for my son's AR and my AR, wouldn't work in her .223 wilde chamber. The bolt wouldn't close completely, even after breaking the rifle in with 150 rds of 55 gr M193 mil ammo. Tighter tolerances on the 223 Wilde?

The shoulder may not be pushed back far enough.
