Rich is that the gallow technologies wall panel system? I’m getting ready to begin construction on my vault and looking at different wall rack systems. Are you pleased with the adaptability?

I did my entire vault room in Gallowtech since I already had 8 panels from my old house.

Pros: Looks good, easy install, it's solid construction.

Cons: Cost. As you probably already know, it's pricy, and the shipping is expensive as well. After you add up all the racks that attach to the panels, it cost me around 11k to finish it.

Yeah, that’s pricey. I was looking at some of their ready to install packages and would probably be spending $4k for the space I want to outfit before shipping and adding in some of the extra parts I’d want.

Old Sinus211 is nagging at me to find a “reasonable alternative, for the price.”

You could always go with Tactiwalls. They're cheaper, but I don't think they look as good. I guess any system of organizing a vault is just pricey in general. I don't know how big your room will be, but I'm sure you will out grow it faster than you think.

I’m sure you’re right about outgrowing it. It’s a 10x14 space and I of course have the unrealistic dream of having all the long guns on presentation across the wall but will probably end up just displaying the show pieces and having the rest in vertical racks to conserve wall space. I’ll check out tactiwall. Thanks for the info!
