Nice M-14. I have non-NM one from James River Armory in which most of parts were from Bula Defense. I replaced the stock walnut hand guard with a fiberglass one. I did actually order a real M14 hand guard which was slightly used or unissued.

Very nice!
I'd do a light sanding with 0000 steel wool, hand rub with BLO, and repeat a few times or until it shines like a kitchen chair.
Maybe stop a little before that. Hahaha
Actually did that to a .458 Win Mag bolt action to see at what point it couldn't get any better.
Think it was 14, have to check.
But the wood shines.
Boiled Linseed Oil really brings out the wood grain.
They used to dip them in the stuff at US Springfield armory.
