That is the average amount of guns we take when we go. I bought a H&R 243/308 single shot from a waguns member that I need to load up for. I just bought a Leopold 3x9 vx2 for the 243 barrel and i have a Nikon scope for the 308 barrel. I am.waiting for the Leopold scope to come in the mail and i,m waiting on some 308 brass to come in the mail as well.
I have the 243 brass about all prepped. I just have 75 or so left to trim.andthen take the burrs off. I have a few different powders to try out and several.types of bullets.
I will be taking the 243 back to new york next year for deer hunting along with my 243 Remington 788.

Appreciate all of the picking up you do Dove Release! Each of us leave with a garbage bag fill of stuff and sometimes it doesn't look like we did anything.

   Excellent!

Steel too. Nice magnet clean up!

Good idea on the moving blanket. I use old beach towels and just through them in the washer.

I use to use towels on the table. I bought the smaller moving pad from.harbor freight for this table. When we take the bigger full size table I have the bigger size moving pad. The guns dont get marred up. I dump 22lr bullets on the moving pad for Mason to and they stay put.

We went shooting this afternoon for four & a half hours up to the darrington pit. A friend went with us today. He brought his AR15 and five other guns, I took a dozen guns. My M1 Garand was a blast to shoot. Mason liked the SKS and the AR15. Today was Mason's first time shooting a 9mm semi auto pistol. Next shooting trip.i will take my Glock 17 for him to shoot. Last night I loaded up some 44spl, 38spl and 357 magnum for him to shoot.

I picked up three - 5 gallon buckets and a 3 gallon bucket of shotgun hulls. It never gets done, I pick up 15 gallons of shotgun hulls and next trip.there is 25 gallons more.

Did Mason shoot the Garand? Or is that too much for him?

He shot it one time it was a little much for him. The recoil is that badn but I think he's a little overwhelmed by the size of the 30/06 cartridges.
He was all over the SKS and the 223 AR15.

I bought a 243/308 single shot H&R rifle and brass for both barrels to reload that I will load down to the minimum for him.to shoot. I am waiting for a leupould scope to come in the mail for the 243 barrel. I have a Nikon s open for the 308 barrel. I will get them set up. This week and get reloading g some cartridges for them. The 243 I will be taking back to New York next November when I go back to hunt deer.

The average deer take here is less then 30,000 deer a year.

In New York it is over 200,000 deer a year average.

In Pennsylvania the average deer take is over 300,000 deer a year. I will not waste my money on buying a hunting license here especially the way this game department is operated by a bunch of lieing libaturds.

My airline ticket cost me close to $300 round trip. The New York and Pennsylvania hunting licenses cost $100 apiece for non-residential small & big game combined. Doe tags are $10 apiece.

I see more deer in one day back there then I see here in five years and I am up in the Mountains every weekend I can go to take Mason out to shoot.
I want to take him back the first week in October so i can take him small game hunting and let him see the change if the leaves.
Then there are other things there i want to take him to see.
Have you ever gone to the coal mine your in Scranton?
That is a neat tour, they take you down under where they mined for coal.

What time is good for you?

I can bring some Ruger revolvers.
I also have several Ruger rifles, one of my favorites is my stainless model 77 in 357 magnum.

How about we meet at the shell station at 9:00? I would like to shoot some of the revolvers so thank you for bringing them. I have a number if steel plate targets and a couple of stands that I will bring along. I do really like the sound of ringing steel.
