Shooting pits accessible in Leavenworth Area (in December)

Hey guys i am new here and am going to be renting a cabin up in Leavenworth next week and would like to take the family to a shooting pit somewhere out there. We will have a 4x4 suv and am just going to do some short range pistol and AR shooting. Is there a good pit out there that is accessible this time of year? Directions or coordinate? Any info would be appreciated. Will be cleaning up and will not be blowing up your spot on a regular basis.
