They typically plow that road up to the hard right corner before the big pit. That becomes parking for Snowmobilers.
Maybe they just haven't done it yet.

Is the gate before the pit closed? I remember going out there last year and it was closed.

They close that gate when the snow gets deep, then it's snowmobile access. The road is well traveled with some Snow plowing up to that point, shooting at the Clearcut should still be accessible.

I may be there Monday, but i have 4WD and heated seats to make the trek.

Bring a Tarp if you want your Brass though.

Yeah, that's pretty much a given policing your brass ANZAC, more to the point because of the Snow. :facepalm2:

I was up there a few days ago and FR 70 has not been plowed but I still made it to the clear cut pit and walked it in.

Bring shoes you don't mind getting wet because when going to set up targets the snow is deep. Also looks like the forest service has moved some very big boulders that funnels all the shooters to shoot into the hill side which I like, and like the other guy said bring a tarp or you will never find your brass

Yep that was the plan we had. There is still some final touches that need to be done though
