Hey everyone!
My wife and I usually just shoot at West Coast Armory. Does anybody have some favorite places to shoot outside? (Pistol, rifle). We have both NEVER shot outside before and are wanting to try somewhere that allows guests, or just some place to give it a whirl :)
In regards to shotguns we have been out to Red's Fly Shop near Ellensberg and hear great things about Seattle Skeet and Trap in Ravensdale WA.

Marysville Rifle Club has public shoots on Thursdays. I cannot recall the fee. Rifle range is open air but the shooters are under cover. Berms at 75-100-150-200 and gongs at 220 yards

Interlake Sporting Association is not open to the public but I'm happy to give you a tour, so you can decide if you want to join.

I had great experiences at Issaquah sportsmans club in. Only reason I stopped going was because I moved up north. Covered pistol and rifle, out to 100yd.

+1 for Issaquah. Been there forever. The RSOs are very nice. And it's relatively close to WCA. The only downside is that they have a 10 round load limit for mags and don't allow prone rifle shooting. They can be lax on the 10 round limit if you shoot slowly though.
Interlake is another good one. You should take Ben up on his offer to go there. It's another old range and there are no RSOs to tell you what to do. Only time I got to go, my buddy who is a member and I had the range to ourselves for about 2 hours. It was great!
The stairs are a killer though...

Kenmore is a good range with rifle and pistol ranges open to the public from 12 noon to dusk weekdays and 9:00 AM to Dusk Weekends/Holidays.
Rifle is limited to 100 yards for public shooters but with membership you can shoot out to 300 yards. It's a good All-Weather range with well covered shooting positions. Public Rifle Range will be undergoing renovations later this month but provisions have been made to use the 100 Y targets on the Member's only range.

for Interlake. Take Benja up on his offer. He gave us a tour when we were looking. Many times you have the place to yourself or maybe another person or two. The last few times we went we had the pistol range all to ourselves. Benja is working hard to add some nice features to the ranges as well. Another place I like is Tacoma Sportmans Club but it's a good hike from where I am located. My wife and I checked out one of the pots in Olympia and you just got to be careful and aware of some who act a fool and are careless. Happy shooting!

If you don't mind a bit of a drive, I like going to Plantation Rifle Range, just south of Bellingham. They have separate facilities for rifle and pistol. For rifle, they set up targets at approx. 50/100/200/300 yards. The RSOs are very friendly, a big reason why I go there.

Trying on another computer tomorrow! Tried multiple browsers and cleared cache/cookies on my PC and it didn't work.
