Lived in Sultan for a year, transited Ben Howard almost daily. Never heard of this, but very interested to know more.

There are still signs on his property. At least there was about 6 months ago. A friend of mine's father lives 2 property's down from there.

Jim Faire is currently awaiting trial for homicide over in Wenatchee-ish. Ran someone over with his truck during a confrontation/fleeing a confrontation. No clue if anyone is currently living on his property in Monroe.
He used to be a regular on another local forum. Ive shot at his place, 10+ years ago as a guest of a mutual friend. He hosted the Appleseed event at least once in the same time period. He dozed up a 20'+ 3 sided berm and created a 100 yard-ish shooting range in a field behind his house.
