I haven't been there personally but i've seen some pics that didn't show any snow. The last person i seen post about it said the gates were still closed but the ranger said you could still shoot there if you walked in. I'd like to know how it looks myself so we can start getting a clean up going in a few months

I was up there earlier today.

Rd 7013 is closed Dec. 15 through May 1 for elk migration. Rd7013 is where you turn off to get to the clearcut roughly 2.5miles after turning off 410. You can park out along FS70 and walk-in. There were 4 cars there today even in the rain.

The gate on FS70 that is roughly 2.09 miles from the clear cut, and roughly 4.59miles off 410 is open.

The lower pit, the pit with the barricade which is roughly 3.2miles from the clearcut, is open and accessible. There is no snow on the road up to this point, but watch out for branches that may be sticking way into the road way. There were quite a few people at this pit today. If you drive pass this pit, then traction tires are recommended, certain parts of the road turned into a single lane road due to the snow pile.
