Looking for a place to shoot with my brother who's a Green Beret weapon specialist when he comes up from joint base Lewis McCord. Used to go up mountain loop in granite but I heard they are all closed now due to people leaving garbage. Please clean up after yourself so we can keep these places open. I always police my brass and you should too. Let me know if you know any good places to shoot. You can pm me if you prefer. Thank you
Arlington, Monroe, Granite, Snohomish or anywhere around here.

Unfortunately, not all that many want to suggest a place to shoot on an open forum. While the members here might be good citizens and pick up their trash, there are those that just lurk. They hear of a place that isn't closed and next thing you know, they and all their "bud's" load up a bunch of crap and guess where they're headed.
Best way to find a place now is to just go out for a drive, checking out the various forest service roads that aren't gated. The farther "in" you go, the more likelihood you'll find a place that hasn't been trashed and then closed. I kind of like areas where I can set targets on a small ridge then drive back down the road and find a place I can see that target and has enough room to shoot from. Don't need a huge gravel pit or wide open space, just a good backstop for the target and the ability to get far enough off the road to shoot legally.

What's Weyerhaeuser property? Lol I always police my brass and bring garbage bags to clean up as much as I can though. I don't like shooting with lots of people either. It's usually just me and my brother when he comes up from Lewis McChord. So if anyone knows a good spot around here please private message me. I will definitely not be telling anyone about it and I'm always down for clean up anywhere around here. It's so hard now days to find a good place to shoot it's rediculous.

There is a spot up here in Skagit County that is on the range map at the top of the page. Believe its called "Honey Hole Sedro-woolley". Locals call it Medford or Harry Osborne Wilderness. Its a pretty good pit and I work with the DNR and do a clean up or two a year there with the help of Wagunners and others.
