That's awesome. I know that shooting area that the Yankee is at well... And I avoid it at all costs... I've had more idiots point guns at me or people I'm with at that sight than I can count on both hands.

So are we thinking about doing a clean up effort in June or July this year?

If it needs it, yes! This thread is revived over and over. The current state of the pit is NOT trashed.

I also am a member of NWFA and was at that site clean up that day. I met the Yankee and commended him about his WA Guns bennie.
Although until know (seeing the video) I did not know he was the Yankee (my hearing is my worst enemy sometimes) but he sure did look familiar.

Here is the 12 page thread about it at NWFA, it was a very organized event with great attendance.

I'll keep looking here for more info on cleanup events.

That's awesome. The YankeeMarshall wears our schwag often, even though he isn't a member here (that we know of lol). Regardless, he's got a pretty big fan base on WaGuns.

Glad to hear the NWFA cleanup was such a success. The efforts they put in for the Southern WA / Northern OR forests are impressive!

Other than the inclement weather that day it went pretty well but we ran out of bags so didn't get it 100% done but damn close.

There is another small pit just off of Hwy 8 before the GH/Thurston county line and ORV Park, the 2800 line on Green Diamond property that I have been to that needs cleaned. Has anyone been there?

Samuel, welcome to WaGuns! :wavey:

Go to the top of the web page (assuming you're using the full site, not mobile or TapaTalk) and click on the "shooting areas" link. Then look for the "Waddell Creek Shooting Pit."
