Went to check the listing on the map shown as:
"Honey Hole - Tahuya* Forestry land Lat: 47.503879 Long: -123.01638
Went there this weekend. The site is VERY marked as 'no target shooting' in several locations, both on the gates and amongst the trees. There isn't a well-defined gravel pit type backstop, just a clear cut in the woods on top of a hill. Many hidden paths used by mountain bike riders, who were out in abundance this weekend.
If you listed this one for the map, please advise me what would keep this on the list please, cuz I'd say it's better NOT listed.

Just curious, but are the "no target shooting" signs the official type???

These aren't even the kind you buy at the store, these are special-made. You can see where people have shot a couple of signs in the past, but they are very visible and clearly legible. It's Pope an Talbot forestry land, not BLM. After seeing it first hand, I wouldn't recommend anyone going there, let alone put in on a map for the gun-enthusiasts brethren.

Tahuya forest is pretty big, does this mean there is no locations you can shoot in the forest now? I had always entertained the idea of a hiking/camping/shooting trip there some time. Never could find the official laws on it though.

Never could find the official laws on it though. I just rated the site as it was originally posted by GPS location. What I found there was discouraging, but there's a lot I didn't explore. If you have a chance to search that area and can find someplace you would recommend please post back with an update?

Gotcha. It's a good 90min drive from me, so I won't be doing any recon soon. I just had always wanted to go.
