Sounds good! I'm going to keep an eye on the weather reports, as the "Death Road" likes to get muddy at the 1st sign of rain or snow!
Saturday March 24th shows nice sunny weather, but that's a bit soon.
March 31st could also work. Or any time after that.

Thanks for posting this spot! I've been up a few times now, and hauled a big bag of trash out with me each time. Problem is, when I have been back there has just been more... It's a little disheartening to say the least... I'll keep going and cleaning up after others though, it's just part of the routine I guess.
Thanks again!

Thanks again! This would be a good opportunity for someone to put up one of those "Game Camera's". If someone is dumping trash there like in other areas, Snohomish County Sheriff's Department would love to see the "pics". There are a couple of areas I have found where furniture is just dumped off. Too bad it's not appliances. Couches make lousy target material That is unless you have a few hundred tracer rounds

I do have a game camera, but it's of very poor quality, and I highly doubt it would work at all.
On the other hand, Since it's so cheap, I would not miss it in case it were to be discovered and either stolen or drilled full of holes.

Not much room for parking. Some climbing of logs and earth is involved. Good for pistols but not so much for rifles. Bring a couple extra garbage bags as there always seems to be plenty of cleanup to do.

I'm guessing this is an un-policed pit?

And it has to remain small, 3-4 people at most, and you'd all have to take turns shooting. Further in the pit near the hillside, that's a great place for Tactical/Home Defense Shotgun Shooting! And as for Rifles, Hi-Power Rifles, you're wasting your time unless you are just doing function testing. As for Intermediate Caliber Weapons(AR's, AK's, Mini's, M1 Carbines, etc) this is a pretty good place, as long as you're happy shooting those guns at 50 yards or so. Pistols work great in this Pit! And yes, it's a pretty sad place. Some people decided to deposit their trash here, and that's how it ended up. It's better now, but still a long ways to go.

Snohomish County had a Deputy Sheriff back in the 70's that was on the "Trash Dumping Patrol". He was a little twisted. Every once in a while he'd sort through the garbage dumped at sites like this and find discarded mail with addresses. Utility bills, etc, were great. He'd then fill a plastic bag with the crap left behind and "deliver" it back to the source at an early morning hour. Sometimes on the front porch, sometimes in front of the garage. He figured he was just returning "Lost Property". Maybe that's the way to deal with trash dumpers. Just take it back to their houses. Game Cam's are cheap. Maybe the County would set some up for the "cause".

Out at Oso #2 today with friends and family. Got to say thats one of the cleanest I have ever seen it. Although I have only been there a few times. Not much trash to bring out. Good day all in all.. We shot over 2000 rounds. 9mm, 45lc, 410, 12 GA. 22LR and taught my daughter, brother and his girls how to shoot.. My 14 year old daughter is still laughing about how much her shoulder hurts from shooting to much 12 GA..

Nope and no signs saying no shooting. Only signs that say no dumping. We were there for 4 1/2 hours, so they would have had lots of time for someone to come up and say something. We have a friend that lives 1/4 mile from the turn off and they know nothing about a so called no shooting in that area.
