| Post subject: | Where to shoot? |
I'm more interested in outdoors, in the hills etc. I'm a member or a local club but I can only shoot paper for so long. Every now and I again I'd like to shoot something else. Back home (Nebraska) you can shoot for miles in any direction. I've heard people up heading east to the Cascades, they say you just shoot off any forest service road. When I head out there, all the roads are gated, and no one wants to give up their honey hole because of all the irresponsible shooters, that don't clean up etc. I see you all are planning a shoot down by Olympia, and I'd rather not make a 3 hour drive just to pop cans and clays (or whatever you shoot out there.) But if thats what it takes, at least i get to meet some of you. Anyone up North trust me with their honey hole? I know i'm new to the forum, and I know its a lot to ask but hell, I'm going nuts putting holes in paper, and I'm just wasting time if I don't ask. That and my brothers are coming in town and they would laugh at me if they see what I've became. LOL Thanks. |

Ryan, check out our "places to shoot" forum, especially the stickied post with the interactive range map: http://waguns.org/viewforum.php?f=43. There are a few "honey holes" on there, but as you've found, there aren't that many spots available that are close to civilization, and even fewer that people are willing to share. |

Trust me I understand not wanting to share, I cant say that I would. There are just too many idiots out there. Thanks for getting me pointed in the right direction. |
