It's on the books and we're gonna do it. Trash No Land and WA Backcountry Hunters & Anglers are sponsoring this cleanup. Yeah, I know it's on a Sunday, but BC Hunters & Anglers picked that date and it's fine with me.

TNL will host a BBQ lunch and BCHA has some free raffle prizes to give away.

Here's the link to the event info on Trash No Land:

Be sure to register in the link on that page.

So come join us! (But don't get distracted when you pass the Nudist colony! We need you at the cleanup! And fully clothed!) :)

I'm in

Also there is limited parking if anyone wants a place to park and carpool they are welcome to park infront of my place in town

Discover pass is required up there, but you may be able to park a few hundred feet west of the pit on private forest.

Thanks, Shaggy!

The DNR Discover Pass is waived due to volunteers at work for DNR, as this is a DNR sanctioned event. So no need to worry bout that.

That's cool to offer parking at your place! The DNR officer will be there to help direct parking too.

I see BHA already has about 34 people signed up! Geez, if all of those come, along with more yet to sign up, we'll be done and shooting in no time! It also means I may have to buy more food! But hey, we cool. We cool.

I gotta camp somewhere near there. Any suggestions? Some BHA folk are camping too, so they may already have a spot picked out. I'll know better next week. Personally, I think the Nudist camp would be just fine!!!

Yeah! It'll be a good representation, to DNR, of responsible shooters who are willing to care for their places to shoot. I hope we have an overwhelming show! Maybe Olympia Corporate will sit up and take notice!

I have that on my calender.
I'll get the Suaittle River Road pit clean up scheduled early next week.

I’m gonna try and make this one Bill but I cannot promise anything. We’ve had a rocky road the first part of this year so far. A family member’s health has taken a turn for the worst and we are having to watch both grandkids for weeks at a time. Mrs. caveman cannot do it by herself anymore.
I’ll keep in touch.

If the turnout is that big, it might be an idea to see if anyone wants to split off and do some work at some other spots up there. As far as i know that is the only official pit, but there are plenty of other turnoffs where people shoot right next to "no shooting" signs.

Is anyone wanting to camp on Saturday night? I'm up for it.

I'm thinking of setting up camp at the cleanup site. But only if I'm sure someone else will camp there with me!

Shaggy, looking forward to meet you at the clean up.
Caveman, sorry you can't make it.
You need to help family out first.
