Going to spend a weekend at baker lake, do you know of any shooting spots near there? I know the Monroe and Sultan spots but am looking for something up in that neck of the woods to do some target shooting.
It's north of concrete about 20 miles or so.

Can rhn Back to Harry Osborne wilderness area in Hamilton. Called Medford by locals. Or, on Baker Lake rd, turn on NF12 to Park Butte Lookout and the Sno Park, there is a shooting pit out that way.

Heard the Medford pit is closed as DNR land is closed due to "fire risks"

From what my LE friend told me, recreational shooting is banned at the moment because of the fire risks, like lionhrt said. I don't understand why... I don't use incendiary ammunition nor does anyone I know. Pretty odd but understandable. Can't do anything to change it.
Well hopefully things will open back up soon so we can all get out and shoot!!
