Thanks Bill for all the work you and your crew are doing to preserve our shooting spots. I always haul out more trash than I bring in. Goes the same when I visit public shooting spots outside of WA state.

Anyway, I've joined your group at Journeyman level.

Thanks, Highway!

Yes, I just got that notification about the Journeyman membership. Thank you! I'll get a confirmation email sent to you this evening. I'm at the airport right now but will do that pretty soon.

I wrapped up the graffiti project in the Yacolt Burn last weekend. Coated the rocks with Anti-Graffiti Blok and cleaned off some tagging on the L1600.

This trip took the last of my solvent. Any further graffiti removal projects will have to be done by donations to help pay for more solvent and, if it's a commonly tagged area, more Anti-Graffiti coating. Solvent runs $330 per 5 gallons and Anti-Graffiti at $335 per 5 gallons.

Our next project is most likely going to be Wildcat, in the Mt Hood Nat Forest and we'll need 2-3 gallons solvent and same with the anti-coating. Let me know if you see graffiti at your favorite shooting site. I might be able to help.

If you can help with supply costs, please do so at: Graffiti Removal Fund, Trash No Land.

Thank you!

All 3 videos of this project are on our website page: https://www.trashnoland.org/graffiti-removal-fund/

In case you haven't noticed the main thread, For those in the Darrington/Arlington, WA area, we have a cleanup scheduled for 9 AM at the Darrington Pit. Several folks from WaGuns.org and Trash No Land plan to attend. I will be there as well. Of course, you can't do a cleanup justice without a good group shoot after the event! Hope you can join us!

This event was spearheaded by @DoveRelease, Pat of Arlington, and he is also paying for the trash disposal! We should chip in to help him cover that cost. We will also need a couple pickups to haul trash.

This is grass roots. No DNR involvement. Only users working to save a good place to shoot.

https://www.waguns.org/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=121625

More details, map link & GPS are on the Trash No Land web page: https://www.trashnoland.org/upcoming-events/cleanup-darrington-pit-darrinton-wa/

Some of us are planning a camp out the night before. If you'd like to join us, drop a note and I'll get you the details.

We had 18 people show up, half were Sportsman's W Employees. Got two large areas cleaned up (lots of trash at each!). I cooked up a nice cheese burger lunch and they gave away a few Sportsman's prizes. It was a good time!

After we loaded up and left, a couple folks and I when shooting. Some awesome guns! We also taught their kids to shoot for the first time!

It was a good day!

I haven't been able to post about it yet, however, Sportsman's Warehouse, Vancouver, posted lots of pic on their Facebook page and I shared that to the TNL page. I may be able to post up a Blog tomorrow.

Bill
