Hey guys, since I've lived here in WA I've never been able to head to the hills and shoot freely. I'd like to train with my firearms, but all ranges I've been to, you cannot draw from the holster or shoot more than one round a second.I live in Tacoma, but I'm willing to drive a while to get to a nice spot. Where and how do I get to a good shooting spot?

I go down to capitol forest
You might have to drive around till you find a good spot. You also won't find a 200 yard range, or a flat range, but it's pretty real deal if you want to set up targets at different ranges and elevations
I'm free tomorrow if you want to go

I have friends from the Tacoma area that head out towards Elbe to shoot. If you look at the DNR website for the Capitol Forest they lay out where you can shoot. I have seen people at the Triangle pit go to the far end and set up to do shooting drills. If you get there early enough you can get some shooting in before it gets crowded or crazy.
