I’ve been eyeballing Quiet Bore for the simple reason that they offer a jig so post Form 1 drilling would be easy. Any experience here with them? General consensus on r/nfa is that they’re overpriced for aluminum parts. But the jig might make it worth the extra cost.
Looking at 22 size and 9 or 45 size to use with a 9mm.

The cups don't need to be that thick to maintain structural integrity. It reduces internal volume and adds weight.

I just ordered a couple from Quiet Bore. Pretty good thread on Snipershide about them and they seem to have a pretty good reputation. Plus they make a jig that makes drilling them easy, once the form 1 is approved. That’s the part that sold me.

Aluminum on a rifle can? Negative. Karl from InRange sent the front half of an aluminum AK can downrange after the erosion ate it up. For the same money, I got an all-titanium kit from Diversified Machine that is performing very well. Not modular like these, but it's solid. Now, aluminum on the pistol can? Color me interested.
