EVO 3 S2, EVO 2 S3? What does all that nonsense mean, and what should I be looking for?

are you really in the "MidWest"? The primary decision to make is whether you want to get a full length carbine or a pistol. I strongly suggest getting a pistol version. I know a LOT about Scorpions. Mine is pictured below. I am happy to answer questions or save you googling time. Send me a PM with your number if you want to chat. They are amazingly inexpensive to mod if you want to, and I would put mine up against much more expensive guns any day. I shoot it back to back with my Vectors frequently.

^That is SEXY.
I'm also following this...I want a Scorpion pistol really bad. The Micro is especially appealing, but I have a feeling I would appreciate a longer barrel because it would be primarily a range toy.

That IS Sexy. I SBR'd mine, it has the CZ Folder with the same Trigger and Charging handle upgrades. It is my Favorite SBR.

This thread is relevant to my interests
I’d like to buy one. I just don’t like swapping a bunch of parts right off the bat. My end goal is a PCC with a short barrel and 3 lug to hang a can off of

My Evo pistol has the factory folder with tailhook brace, trigger Springs, and a Holosun red dot. I would trust it with my life, for the money there is no equal. They are proven firearms, great backpack guns.

I’d get a pistol version with the intent of range toy/PDW/PCC philosophy. To avoid NFA nonsense, I’ll plan on a pistol brace instead of SBR for now. I don’t like the grip angle, so old want to swap that for a MOE+ or other similar grip.

Let’s start first with this question, what version is “best” to start with? I want a pistol, folding/collapsible arm brace eventually, ability to surplus’s eventually. I’d like something more accurate that my 6in bbl pistol I already have.
