If you have to shoulder it youre just a pussy anyways Resting your Cheek On the Brace isn't the same as resting the brace On your cheek Ops. Fortunately, i'm not stupid enough to do the latter. You should really make some Training Video's.... Were you Spec Ops?

I'll bring my 5.56 and .308 sbr's to the range tomorrow and you can tell me if it's worth it. Dan and Steve both shot the PTR-91 SBR at the new year's group shoot. They know what's up.

Attachment: SBT5KA-Ghosted_Web.jpg I agree that ARs present a unique challenge because of the buffer tube, in terms of PDW style weapons...But I'd go with a LAW adapter.. I could see a stamp for a 10.5" with 6" can, but I'd lean towards form 1 can and pin/weld with removable end cap for cleaning.

The AR is a pussycat but again. Even with a 5.5" barrel and flaming pig it's nice to have an adjustable stock keeping those rounds on target

How could they prove intent on this allegation unless you were to post your intent clearly on an online forum? Some people are just plain stupid and have done exactly that. Maybe not here, but on some of the larger national forums and on Facebook some idiots just can't help but brag how they outsmarted the ATF.

Buddy of mine is a board member and range officer at a club on the other side of the state. We came driving up in my truck and most of the guys were laying jackets over their guns. I asked him what was up? Rain? He said "No, they don't know you or your truck" He got out and they removed the jackets to reveal a bunch of cans, back before it was legal to 'use a suppressor' in WA.

I own my share of SBRs, and they’re nice, but current brace technology really has me thinking twice about building more.
But yeah, sinus211’s PTR-91 SBR is one sweet piece! That thing was a joy to shoot.

I've thought about this a lot too. When you think about it, an AR is the best for sbr because it's so versatile in terms of uppers. Most of us have at least a few spare lowers for it, why not sbr one? I have an ak pistol, and I love it, but I wouldn't sbr it. With a fake buffer tube and a cheek rest, it's perfect for what it is already. I will have to sbr my USC->UMP conversion once I begin that conversion process though.

And here I'm thinking of building another rifle only this time with a 30" barrel. For some reason I'd rather be prepared to deal with threats at a greater distance than they can deal with me. Suppressor? Why? When I send a round out to 1k or farther the sound doesn't arrive until several seconds after the bullet arrives. Second round can be on the way after a miss is spotted and depending on the target, there may not have been a reaction to the first shot yet. I will still stick with my CZ75 SP-01 for close quarters. 20 rounds out of the holster and 19 rounds with each reload. If I shoot up all that ammo either I won't need more, or more won't help at all. Oh yeah, if I were to build/obtain any SBR's I'd also have to buy another safe. My current safe is set up for long weapons and short ones wouldn't have any support to keep them from knocking into each other. Got to love this country. People are free to go their own ways (within the laws of course).
