Have been considering picking up a borescope for some time, mostly to evaluate the efficacy of handgun and rifle cleaning methods as well as inspecting the interior of reloading dies.
I've dreamed of buying a Hawkeye borescope like those found on Brownells but can't really justify the price tag of those units (i.e. $800+).
Recently Lyman has brought a digital borescope to market and apparently at Shot Show 2018 they announced an updated version with improved 300K resolution (i.e. 640x480 LCD panel) from the original model with 320x240. Current prices range from $140 to $230 depending on website (e.g. Amazon, Brownells, Midway).
Just opening up a thread to see which folks on the forum are currently using bore scopes and which models they might recommend. Any responses greatly appreciated.
