Loaded a few hundred more .223 55g BTBT, if I keep doing this an hour per day I’ll run out of primers by Springtime, maybe summer if I fish a lot…

Hit the brand new Grand Opening Sportsman's Warehouse in Bellingham. Bought 4 boxes of 9mm. $11.99 each. Limit 2. I bought 4. Cool store, not real far from the house (~15 miles or so)

Got 315 rounds of .44 Magnum for $200. Mostly older Remington, CCI, and WWB, all loose so I had to sort it myself. But for that price...no problem! One of the nice things about .44M is even the "plinking" loads are damn effective. I wouldn't feel undergunned with 240gr JSPs or SWCs in the woods.
Post Falls Cabelas actually had some ammo, though with a 5 box total limit. 50 .40 S&W and 50x4 Aguila .22LR Subsonic. Gobs of .223, .450, .45ACP, and .308 that I didn't even bother with as I'm finally pretty flush on those.

I'm so thankful I hoarded 44 cal boolits, and brass...when I did. 2 full 8 lb containers of H110 too. Still making them for .30 cents a round and I have 3 rifles and one revolver to feed. Get low on large pistol primers though. I need to do a trade? Large rifle primers for large pistol primers....locally.

Went on a Hunt for 1F or 2F Black Powder and percussion caps. Black Powder is not easy to find, i found 1lb at the Muzzle loader supply store in Puyallup along with some "Reenactor" winged Percussion Caps. Those caps are not exactly ideal or reliable i understand, but better than nothing. I did find 1lb of Pyrodex at Sportsman's Warehouse in Federal Way too, but that is not ideal. 2F equivalent, so it should work anyway.
It was a start, and i already have a bunch of Fuse if i need to go that route, all of that stuff is hard to find locally and the online Hazmat fee's are stupid high.

I've got several pounds of APP BP substitute I'll give you next time I'm over there, if you want.

Thanks Jay, but i just went ahead and ordered 4 lbs of Goex Cannon grade BP and some Schuetzen winged percussion caps online. I could have save myself 3 hours on the road today and buying stuff that would "work" instead of what was ideal.... The Goex 2F will be fine in a reduced load, and the Pyrodex will work too but it's not ideal. Oh well, like i had anything better to do since i'm retired.
