Bit of shopping today. Picked up some 9mm & 45 ACP FMJ range ammo online. Looking forward to some shooting with some of the new pistols we picked up earlier this year. I feel bad that our new pistols are feeling neglected Also ordered a case of 9mm 0.356 diameter 160gr RN coated projectiles from Bayou Bullets. Their shipping lead times are 8-12 weeks. Not as bad as waiting on BATFE for NFA Form 4 approval though still calls for some patience. Looking forward to eventually working up a suppressor load for our 9mm heaters. In near future, planning to upgrade my 10/22 with a chassis, carbon fiber lightweight barrel, and red dot. Eventually I'd like to get an integrated suppressor like the Elevated Silence on the platform as well for quiet time.

Ordered a LMT 37mm 12" M203 and handguard kit to build out my M16A2 M203 replica similar to the one I was issued in the Army. Also ordered components to reload 44Mag for when I get a hold of the new Colt Anaconda.

Finally pulled the trigger on a centerfire after almost 2 years. Been busy with working on the farm and letting the kid shoot his BB gun. Damn I need practice.

Used a borrowed heat gun to shape my Crossbreed holster for the almost-100% functional P80.

Went out with my neighbor and shot some trap. I think a lot of the ammo I used might be defective since some didn't seem to have BBs in them....

I took my niece shooting for the first time. Started off nice and easy with safety instructions and the 10/22. Then she tried a .22 single action revolver. I think her favorite was the mini 14. Then she went with the .45 colt Vaquero. Then one round from my 6.5 creedmoor hunting rifle. Didn’t bring out all my guns and limited the choices because I didn’t want to clean all of them. Bonus is that it left her wanting more.

Did some cleaning/reorganizing and found that I had three one-piece trigger kits that I bought when they were on sale. Now I need to install a couple.

Got my Osprey 45 back from SiCo today. Free warranty repair. I know most can makers are very customer-focused and SiCo is in the club. They tightened something because now the locking lever is REALLY tight.
Quickly ran 20 180gr .40s through it with the much-maligned P80 out in the backyard. Worked flawlessly! It only took hours of messing with the trigger geometry, a new stainless firing pin, and plus power firing pin and trigger springs, but it works, finally. Now to test with .357SIG, but I didn't want to mess with the swap today. I need to find someone with a trigger gauge because I think after all that work --- even with the stock trigger and connector --- it's pretty light.
