After a 5-day weather delay, I got this from the FedEx driver today: Masterpiece Arms BA Competition Chassis for Rem 700 New barrel on the way from Benchmark, and the action is getting cerakoted.
I'll have a fun .308 tack-driver in a month or so!

Cleaned a new-to-me Marlin .30-30, got it ready for the range.
Messed around with my Luger due to the trigger not consistently resetting. I replaced a couple of parts, and that didn't fix it. I learned a lot more about how it works, and now I think I know exactly what's happening . . . but I still don't know how to fix it.

Did you try your usual 2x4?

Reunited with a Colt Python I sold last year to move out of NJ. Never thought I'd see the old girl again.

How long was the wait before MPA shipped? I've got an BA Ultralight on order for a ARC Nucleus LA. Two weeks into a 12-14 week wait per the website
It shipped the day I ordered it, from On The Mark Tactical. $870.00, for the previous generation model, new one is ambidextrous, which I didn't care for. https://shop.otmtactical.com/ Best price I could find, and way cheaper and faster than ordering from MPA. If I didn't already have a blueprinted Rem 700 SA I would be tempted to order an Archimedes SA.

. I went shooting. Took out the 224 Valkyrie to run some ladders I had loaded. Not thrilled. The Sig P365 was as reliable and accurate as ever though. It was a good day. I was at the range.

. I went shooting again today with the Mega Maten AR10 and some test loads in .308 that I put together. The IMR 4895 at 43.0 grains looks promising with the 175gr SMK's. It was a 100 yard day with a temperature of 34° and overcast at 10:00am. I had fun again, just like yesterday, I was at the range.

Ordered a threaded barrel for my Glock, and shopped around for the rest of the parts to finish it off. In terms of cost, I would have been better off just buying a factory-built complete pistol w/ threaded barrel rather than sourcing all the parts separately and building it myself. I guess the main advantage of building it myself is that I know how all the parts go together.

...it's untraceable.
