Debated loading a 12 ga pump with Mini shells instead of 2 3/4 for HD. It was a short debate, i just loaded a 2nd Pump with the Mini shells and left the other with the 2 3/4 shells escalating from #8, to #4, to 00 buck. Problem solved.

Day 2 of the 5-ish day plan of deep cleaning firearms. Detail stripping everything, running parts through the ultrasonic cleaner, and examining for and replacing worn bits. Messy, but a good thing. Discovered that one of my AR bolts isn't actually Cerakoted black, like I thought it was. It just looked that way until I cleaned it.

The jig came from AB Prototype
I got two modules from 1776 Supply Co a while ago. I'm not sure what their policy on shipping to WA is now. A week after I got them I ordered an 80% AR lower and they declined the sale
That's about as far as I've gotten. Too many other projects. Parts availability isn't great right now but I expect that will improve. I did get a couple grip modules off another forum
Whatever you do, don't order anything from Lancaster Tactical Supply. It's a scam

Picked up a pile of reloading supplies today for 38 Short Colt (VV N320) and also for 7.62x39mm (gearing up for new caliber). Midway and Powder Valley had good inventory though their shipping is delayed due to the volume of new purchases.
We recently bought our stepson an Arsenal SLR-107R and we're now gearing up to reload 7.62x39mm SP bullets. Picked up a small volume of Hornady and Prvi Partisan SP bullets, Starline brass, CCI #34 primers and VV N120 to develop some new loads on the single stage.
Also gearing up to churn out 38 Short Colt in volume on the progressive for use in USPSA and SCSA local matches.
Will keep us busy building up a stockpile for shooting at the range when things start to normalize again.

Picked up an Elzetta 2 cell flashlight to mount on my shottie. I really like Elzetta for high recoil applications due to the fully potted electronics which are much more resistant to harsh recoil and vibration. Expensive but great flashlights, especially for specific applications. This time I went with a flood lens instead of focused lens for indoor/close-range usage. https://www.elzetta.com/product/b141/https://www.elzetta.com/blog/potted-electronics/We recently picked up a Surefire EDCLT-2 light for my stepson also. Throws a blazing 1200 lumens putting our other lights to shame.

Made what will likely be my last major firearms-related purchase for a long while. Been looking for a scope for my SL8-1 for a long time. Seemed a shame to let a well-built rifle just sit naked in the safe, even if it is more of a collector piece for me than anything else. Decided I'd get one I could move around to my ARs, too, and saw that Atibal was offering a free Bobro mount with the purchase of their 1-10x30mm FFP scopes, so I went for it. Atibal seems to get good marks for the money everywhere I look, and a Bobro mount included solves both the problem of getting the mount I like (I have two other Bobro mounts. Me likee) and getting a mount that fits the odd-sized 35mm tube on this scope.
Will post pics once it gets here.

Well, don't do it without the adapter that is made for pretty much only Mossberg Shotguns, they will jam in a pump without one. I was clued in by Steve, never even thought about it. https://www.opsolmini-clip.com/Otherwise? Single load only.

Be nice to buy something off the shelf made to function with a 1 3/4" shell. Maybe 40% more capacity in the tube. 12 ga rounds were designed around a low pressure black powder load in the late 1800's, and don't really need to be that long.
