I did that too. Well, I fondled my own.

That .38/44 Heavy Duty came with a weak rebound spring, so I replaced it with a Wolff standard weight. In doing so, I buggered a screw so straight back to eBay to get a replacement.

Well with some trepidation I have done something that I have never considered before....

I PUT MY MUZZLE BREACK AND 3 INCHES OF THE BARREL IN WATER! :shocked4:

This break was put on with "Rock Set" and unlike most other thread lockers, you can't use heat to break it loose.
It is designed to withstand heat up to 2000 degrees.

They claim the only way to break it loose is to soak it in water for 12 hours.... :doh1:

Only time will tell.
Not a comfortable feeling having your rifle having a "spa day"
