Fixed some finger rest target grips for a S&W K-38 plus another rubdown with tung oil. My 1950s spec target revolver is complete.
Send my Osprey 45 back to the mothership for servicing.
Continued to tinker with my P80.

I rearranged the safe contents to make room for the arrival of another box filled with magazines... And no I do not need intervention.

How on god’s green earth do you have room in your safe for magazines? I think he needs an intervention to help fix the problem. He did use a double negative so I think he is really asking for help.

Tee Hee, I’m not coming out of my cave nor letting any strangers in for no stinking meetings...

Quiet Jim, OPSEC. I keep all my guns and ammo at the bottom of Lake Washington, I have a Daisy Red Ryder for home defense. I'll shoot your eye out if you come at me.

Taking our grandson tonight to 4H shotgun practice tonight. His first time ever working with a shotgun. I already have a bunch of 20ga ammo and the club has some loaner shotguns available. I am hoping he enjoys shooting clay targets *fingers crossed*
He's taken to archery pretty well, hopefully he'll enjoy shooting shotguns as much as I do to open the door for more shared activities in the future.

Put the club's LabRadar to work testing my first exploratory ladders of .30-06 M2 Ball and 168gr match loads in an FN49, and then again up on the pistol range interviewing final candidates for my 9mm practice ball load.
I got two nice little five round raspberries at 50yd with 45.0 and 47.0gr of IMR 4895 and some pulled milsurp147gr FMJs I bought out of a bulk bargain bin at Seattle Guns like 25 years ago when I did not reload and just thought it was cool that there was a bulk bin selling bullets by the scoop. 46 & 48gr not so great but it's possible I didn't do my part.
Could not get the 168s to do anything even when I was sure I did my part so another powder or a softer load may be in order.
Decided that 5.4gr of Silhouette, a 115gr Bayou coated LRN and mixed range brass is going to be just fine for casual practice and I look forward to shooting my nines for the enjoyment of shooting without trying to monitor the LabRadar and monkey around with a rest and take notes and photos... Ugh.
A very fine way to get rid of an afternoon. Thanks to everyone here who has either sold me/traded me reloading supplies, provided encouragement to take it up as a hobby or furnished technical advice. I should have started years ago.
