What's the general opinion on Girsan pistols?

Girsans are reliable, roughly produced copies of popular guns. In my experience they work, and that’s about all you can say about them. I haven’t shot any they were particularly accurate, nicely machined, or cleanly finished. But they all shot.

For about the same money you might want to look at the rock island armory 1911's.

Rick, ask dana want he thinks of them. That should be interesting. Then ask him how much to clean it up internally and make it "right".
