I'm not going to blindly click a link... 4.4 miles for what.. A shot? Walking backwards? Distance your wife drug you behind your vehicle before she realized you were there? Cmon, this isn't an AR15L post, you are the GOLDDIGGER!

Rifle shot. Hit 3 1/8 inches from the center of a 8 inch target... on the 69th try.

This is like watching the making of all those videos of that trick shot or throwing a basketball and making a hoop or tossing a playing card into some slit 50 feet away.
69th try… it’s good but it’s also blind luck. Now do it 3 times in a roll. That proves one can repeat it. Lol

I read the article a few days ago and was disappointed at no discussion of the rifle, optics nothing. I want to see the height over bore scope mounts and the setup. It has to look dumb as he'll in my mind. Regardless a cool shot, but repeatability is more interesting or even a second or third round hit. I know that is borderline impossible taking into account every possible variable that could change at that distance and 24 seconds of bullet in flight time

I calculate 1 moa at 4.4 miles being about 81 inches. If you can put 7 out of 10 shots inside that circle at that range, I'd be impressed.

Hmmm hate to pack that in anywhere. Even for a range trip. Lol
I’m too cheap and wouldn’t shoot it. Each round is what?!
Also yes as reference benchmark at 1,000 yards long range competition the target frame is 72” x 72”

69 shots?
Not something I'd brag about.

I too am only mildly impressed. If it takes 69 shots to hit the target, it's neither accurate nor precise.
Another article states it's a .416 Barrett throwing a 422 grain bullet. Kind of a neat caliber that looks exactly like .308 (proportions are very similar) until you set it next to something to compare...and it's 50% bigger in every direction.
