This cocksucking wait list is pissing me off. I was in the mid-600’s back in 2019 and have only moved up to the mid-400’s last year and my number hasn’t changed since. What the actual fuck is going on with them?? Anyone know?
I love shooting there but this wait is pushing me away and it’s pissing me off that I can’t get membership there. It’s pretty fucking annoying trying to get my buddy to set up range days. Ugh.

Well, I have some good news, but I don't know exactly how good it is.

They have been letting new members in from the wait list, but there's a technical issue (I don't know exactly what) and they aren't updating the numbers of people who are on the wait list. So, you're not in the mid-400s anymore, you're somewhere higher than that.

Renewals are coming up soon, so that will open up some more spots too.

A bylaw amendment was proposed to raise the membership cap, but it was voted down.

There’s an issue with my profile and my waitlist number doesn’t show up. So I have to email the member chair if I want to know what my number is.

It’s frustrating when a friend who signed up on the waitlist after me and his number is 100 places in front of me while the chair emailed me back and my number hasn’t moved from last year.
I guess I don’t understand how I’ve been getting passed up unless you’re right and the chair emailed me my number from last year because of that issue?

Either way, it just sucks because it seems they’re closing down all these outdoor pits I used to shoot at and it’s getting increasingly more difficult to find spots to shoot without feeling like a ducking criminal.

Might just give up. This is an expensive hobby and the state, country, and local governments seem hell bent on making us criminals. Might be an easier life not putting myself through this crap.

Hang in there, guys. I know things are moving slowly, but that's partly because of some transitions at the club, and partly because, well, it's a popular range.

Our waiting list is much more manageable thank god.

Interesting...last time I was there, I was with a long standing member on a relatively slow weekday.

The range officer had some strange compulsion wherein he thought he had to furnish me with his recommended target, and got pissed
when I didn't use it. The Dilbert behavior of insisting on his special targets combined with his apparent need to show me how to use a sandbag (WTF?) is just too much.

Sloshing through the mud at the pistol range was another marvelous experience! No thanks...
