Welcome to 2020-2021 . . . yup, prices of EVERYTHING have gone up.

For the next pandemic, cash may become the new TP.

I molested mine....but it was asking for it, showing me its threaded barrel, top mounted picatinny rail, paracord wrapped lever and all.

Bought a few Marlins back in the 80's, early 90's at CT state police auctions..
Couple of 30-30's, a 444, a 45-70, 32w, .35 rem. don't think I paid more than 150 for any of them..
Those days are lonnnng gone..

Everyone bought their Glock and AR and are branching out. Collectible guns have gone through the roof in the last 18 months. Stands to reason the "different" ones experienced the same effect. I personally think the suppressed tacticool lever gun fad is just that, but it's not my money.

I think lever guns are interesting, but I have really narrowed the focus of my acquisition of firearms toward those that have more of a practical application with respect to current events. So aside from my Savage 99 and Henry 22, I won't be acquiring any more lever guns. So don't worry, I won't be the guy bidding you up!

Ya you're about 3yrs to late... I went looking for a lever gun back around March 2019 and prices were already sky rocketing thanks to the run on AR's and various restrictive laws making them attractive to people. While I really wanted either a 44mag or 45-70 marlin the prices were already over $1k if you could find one. I ended up with a used winchester 1886 take down in 45-70 for less than any new marlin. While it may not be as pratical as the marlin I had to have one lever gun in the collection

However..legal in all states..and when I drive up from AZ to Everett on that stupid Basin Highway..it can be loaded except in OR and WA..But AZ NV and ID ..no problem...And I figure if a 30/30 can drop a moose..it can drop a homeless BLM supporter or a college professor..just sayin

It don’t need to be “Tacticool” to be effective...
