Mounting a scope would require a special mount.

There’s only a short section, up forward of the receiver. Fine for a red dot, not for a traditional scope mount.

For those who like this type of thing, this is the sort of thing those people will like.

Honestly, I've never had an issue with the traditional method of cleaning my 10-22 and have never lost zero on my scope either.

I guess it could be beneficial to those high speed/low drag competition shooters, but I'm more of a low speed/high drag kind of guy...
