Question for the wiser... i see a lot of braces, sba3 etc are on sale these days, is it because they can sense their impending doom from the “aft”? Is it still worthwhile to get one now?

Midway has been having a firesale on braces the last week. I wouldnt buy one. I mean, if it’s gonna get bannanated, might as well buy a stock….at your own risk, of course.

Get one if you want one. I've got a couple different styles, one on an AR, one on a Scorpion. Most of my AR's are rifle-length anyway.
Though I would get familiar with the form 1 process, or have some long barrels on hand.
Or just don't tell people what you have.

I'm wondering if it's the "adjustable" ones that got their attention and irked them. Once they started making LOP adjustable on braces, they were poking at the snake IMHO. The Gear Works Tail Hook 1 seems to be purposely designed to fit well inside the guidelines.

I was just surprised how brownells/midwayusa all trying to dump all their sba braces for dirt cheap these days. Looks like they don't want to be stuck with a bunch of items they can't get rid of very soon.

If the price is right , i say buy some. Worse case is they are eventually banned as attachments to barrels under 16". w/o a stamp.
