I'm having a nasty time trying to find a bolt carrier group that's not offered by a shady outfit that never ships or boutique-expensive ones. I just want a bog-standard one for 5.56NATO nitride-coated.

I bought 4 a couple of weeks ago, 3 from Palmetto State Armory, and one from Midway USA. They come in and out of stock fairly frequently. Palmetto State Armory appears to have BCGs in stock. The Toolcraft BCGs get good reviews. https://palmettostatearmory.com/ar-15/u ... roups.htmlHere's another place that has one in stock, no MIM parts. https://www.firearmsunknown.com/m16-nic ... er-gr.html

Sign up for notification and have your card charged up and ready. My preference is Nickel Boron but nitride is good, too

I just want a bog-standard one for 5.56NATO nitride-coated. If you're in Burlington, I recall North Sound Firearms having several in stock last weekend or so. Mostly Aero nickel boron BCG's, but some nice Nitride ones. If you're patient, I might have one available in a week or two. I'm ordering a couple different ones because I need one MFG's carrier and another MFG's bolt, and I will have the mismatched BCG left over.

Armstopia usually gets Aero BCGs every week or so. Sign up for their in stock alerts. I’ve purchased from them a few times. No issues. I saw a nitride bcg at Westcoast Armory. I did not take a look at it personally, just seen it in the case. You might want to give them a call to see if they still have some available. Other than that, Rehv Arms had a Rosco MFG bcg, but it was being sold as a package with a barrel/gas block/gas tube(aka Rosco’s sauce pack).
